Gaotai No. 2 Middle School

Gaotai No. 2 Middle School is located in the Wetland New Area of Gaotai County and adjacent to Heihe River Wetland Park. With an investment of over 80 million yuan, the boarding school was put into use in August 2013. It covers an area of 65,000 square meters and boasts a floor area of 25,200 square meters, sports venues of 21,000 square meters and green area of 23,300 square meters.

There are 134 staff workers, including 92 full-time teachers, and 29 classrooms with 1,243 students in Gaotai No. 2 Middle School. Its teachers have published more than 300 academic papers in education magazines at municipal level and above and over 30 research projects have passed through provincial-level appraisal. A total of 80 demo classes have claimed awards and titles in professional contests at county level and above.

During the past decades, Gaotai No. 2 Middle School has received numerous awards and titles at county level and above such as national demonstration school of sports education, provincial demonstration school of happy campus, municipal demonstration school of compulsory education, water conservation, arts education, anti-drug and ethnic unity, and county-level demonstration school of myopia prevention in recognition of its achievements in all aspects.
