Desert sports park thrills off-road enthusiasts in Gansu

Hordes of off-road enthusiasts hotfooted it to the National Desert Sports Park in Zhangye city, Northwest China's Gansu province, to experience the thrills and spills of off-road action on May 18.

The off-road cars roared onto the track, splashing the mud, fiercely tussling for position while performing thrilling drifting maneuvers, charging the atmosphere among the spectators.

The roar of the engines mingled with the cheers of the fans, in a scene of speed, carnage and racing passion.
