As early summer arrives, Zhangye National Wetland Park comes alive with lush greenery and sparkling waters, shedding the gentleness of spring for a more vibrant, enchanting display.
The wetland transforms into a living ecological painting, where shimmering ripples and birdsong create a tranquil haven. Upon entering the park, visitors are immediately greeted by fresh, humid air and an expanse of thriving vegetation. Newly sprouted reeds, radiant in their emerald hue, sway gently in the breeze like waves of green stretching into the distance.
A winding wooden boardwalk snakes through dense plant life, offering an immersive stroll accompanied by the sounds of murmuring water below and birds calling from above. Every step reveals nature's vitality in full bloom.
The tranquil Heihe River flows serenely through the park, nourishing this precious oasis. Along its banks, tamarisk and oleaster trees have donned their seasonal greenery, while smartweed plants start to burst forth with splashes of color, creating a dynamic contrast to the sea of green.
In this peaceful setting, Zhangye National Wetland Park continues to serve not only as a natural sanctuary but also as a treasured urban retreat in the heart of the season.
