Workers at the frozen vegetable production line of Linze New Cooperation Baihui Trade Company in Shahe town, Linze county, Zhangye city, Northwest China's Gansu province were meticulously sorting 120 metric tons of frozen okra destined for East Asian markets on Aug 12.

The automated production line has been operating at full capacity, processing carefully selected vegetables like broccoli, okra, and green beans. In a remarkable -35 C freezing process, fresh produce undergoes a stunning transformation in just 15 minutes, emerging as compact frozen products.

To date, over 500 tons of frozen vegetables have been processed and swiftly transported via cold chain logistics to Qingdao Port, ultimately reaching overseas tables as premium organic offerings from Zhangye.

Located in the heart of the Hexi Corridor, Linze county boasts fertile soil, abundant sunshine, and significant diurnal temperature variation that provide ideal conditions for growing organic produce.

The county has been using these natural advantages to develop its processing companies, with 45 now specializing in seeds, vegetables, and livestock products. These facilities annually process 873,200 tons of agricultural products, demonstrating the growing strength of Linze's modern agricultural industrial value chain.
