Economy

In 2025, Zhangye achieved regional GDP of 73.435 billion yuan ($10.64 billion), an increase of 7.7 percent over the previous year, among which the added value of the primary industry reached 18.445 billion yuan, an increase of 5.9 percent; the added value of the secondary industry reached 14.873 billion yuan, an increase of 9.6 percent; the added value of the tertiary industry was 40.118 billion yuan, an increase of 7.9 percent. The added value of industries above designated size increased by 12.8 percent. The per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents increased 4.2 percent and 7.1 percent, respectively.
