An exhibition on the ecological culture and conservation achievements of the Qilian Mountains opened on Aug 19 at Zhangye Museum, offering a vivid narrative of the region's remarkable ecological restoration efforts.
The exhibition is structured around five thematic sections, featuring over 300 valuable exhibits, including ancient rock rubbings, lifelike animal and plant specimens, and fossils that trace historical environmental changes.
Supported by well-designed panels, videos, and interactive installations, these displays create an immersive experience of the Qilian Mountains' ecological landscape. Visitors gain insight into the area's rich biodiversity and long-standing ecological culture, as well as the critical role the mountains play in ensuring national ecological security.
Guided tours bring the specimens and data to life, turning the exhibition into both an educational platform and a practical demonstration of green development.
