Artists capture spirit of the Hexi Corridor in Zhangye, Gansu

The "New Era in Art" campaign by the China Artists Association was launched in Zhangye, Gansu province. The event, which also incorporates the "Travel with art through the Hexi Corridor" national artists' sketching tour, has drawn creatives from across the country to explore and depict this historic region.

Armed with brushes and palettes, the artists were tracing the profound historical heritage of the Hexi Corridor while capturing its contemporary ecological beauty and dynamic development. Their works reflect a unique and heartfelt perspective, suspending the fascinating interplay between past and present along the ancient Silk Road.
