Zhangye agricultural products shine in Greater Bay Area

Zhangye participated in the 2025 SIAL China International Food and Beverage Exhibition in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, from Sept 1 to 3.

The city hosted a promotional event titled Zhangye Agricultural Products: A Feast for the World at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center.

More than 60 local enterprises presented over 100 types of high-quality agricultural products, highlighting the region's rich agricultural resources and unique natural advantages.

Zhangye highlighted a range of premium products, including highland summer vegetables, beef, lamb, and dairy items.

Grown with snowmelt water from the Qilian Mountains and located within the 38 degrees north latitude golden agricultural production zone, these products have earned praise for their organic certification, traceable production, and distinct quality.

The event featured tasting sessions, livestreaming marketing, and business negotiation zones, combining offline and online activities to demonstrate Zhangye's modern agricultural development.

With its unique geographical advantage, Zhangye benefits from exceptional natural conditions and a robust agricultural foundation. In recent years, the city has developed the Golden Zhangye Agricultural Products brand, continuously expanding its influence and market reach.

The event aimed to help local enterprises explore domestic and international markets. As a leading opening-up platform in China, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area serves as an international stage for high-quality domestic agricultural products.

During the exhibition, Zhangye enterprises reached 18 intended cooperation agreements with purchasers, valued at 2.86 billion yuan ($401 million).
