A high-speed train was recently captured speeding through Zhangye, Gansu province, set against the majestic Qilian Mountains in a breathtaking autumn scene. The mountains were dressed in seasonal glory: snow-capped peaks, dark green spruce forests along the slopes, and golden-brown grasslands and fields at the foot, forming a layered landscape reminiscent of a natural oil painting.

Traveling along the Lanzhou-Xinjiang high-speed railway through the Hexi Corridor, the train offered passengers fleeting views of northern foothills, grazing livestock, and scattered rural dwellings.
