New upgrades for Zhangye glass manufacturer

Gansu Fudi Jinhong Glass Products, located in the Zhangye Economic and Technological Development Zone, has installed electronic display equipment in its production workshop.

These screens provide real-time product specifications and inspection guidelines, helping staff efficiently identify defects and enhancing overall quality control.

The first phase of the company's Zhangye's Low-Carbon Household Glass Industrial Park, a key investment project in the zone, commenced operations last October.

Its three automated lines produce over 10,000 types of glass containers, such as cosmetic and perfume bottles, mainly for the European market. The plant utilizes automated batching and electric furnace melting, with an annual output value of approximately 150 million yuan ($21.06 million).

The second phase of the industrial park is now in its final stages. Covering 200 mu (13.33 hectares), the new phase represents a 200-million-yuan investment and is expected to create around 280 new jobs once operational.

The project has received strong support from local authorities, including streamlined business registration and guaranteed stable power supply — a critical requirement for continuous glass manufacturing.

Development plans center on building a comprehensive industrial chain, aiming to establish a low-carbon glass industrial park with a projected annual output exceeding 10 billion yuan.
