Experts and scholars of hua'er, a unique style of folk song popular in western China, launched a field trip in Songmingyan Scenic Area in Hezheng county, Linxia Hui autonomous prefecture, Gansu province, on June 14.
On the night of early summer, the Ancient Ming-Qing Street in Ganzhou district, Zhangye, Gansu province is decorated with a burst of colorful lights.
The porcelain plates are 27.5 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm in thickness. The main body of the work is based on the Western Xia mural Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara in Water Moon Form (Shuiyue Guanyin), a treasure of the Yulin Grottoes in Guazhou county of Jiuquan, Gansu province.
The Gansu pavilion made a strong impression with a series of artistic works featuring the Maijishan Grottoes at the 19th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), which opened on June 7 and will last until June 11.
